Established in 1903 as a congregation of the Presbyterian tradition,
Knox  became a Congregation of The United Church of Canada in 1925.

KNOX UNITED recently honored The Rev Ralph Johnston on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of his ordination.  Over 350 guests gathered at the BayPlex  on June 6th and were piped into the complex upon arrival.. Speakers for the evening included  The Rev Dana Feltmate, The Rev Stephen Mills, Marjorie Serafinus, Fred Courtney, Robert MacIsaac, Lenore Brewster, The Rev Donald MacDonald, Sandy MacLeod, and The Rev Ray Purchase., The Rev John Finlayson . Lorne Timmerman, Clerk of Session at Knox ,made a presentation to Rev Johnston on behalf of Knox United. MC for the evening was Charles MacDonald and Jim Mc Neil provided dinner music.  Musical selections from James MacQuarrie and Linda Hillier were enjoyed  and everyone joined in the singing of Nightwatch as the evening drew to a close.
